I"I conceived these paintings like a prayer. In the fresco is told the story of the Fall of Man from Heaven, of his Redemption, of the Hope granted through the Annunciation to Mary, and the Way pointed out by Christ to human beings in order to find the path to Light and the bound to God. Through this narration I wished to express the beauty of the World created by God, the mystery of Faith, the joy and strength of Life, symbolized by the Tree of Life. I took inspiration from the sacred images of Byzantine and Armenian Art, but always maintaining the resonance of these archetypal iconography with my own artistic and spiritual experience. The sentiment of the presence of the gaze of Christ over these images which I painted, accompanied me during the whole period in which I worked. Often I was invoking it by praying: “Be custodian of my Heart and hold my hand, in order to illuminate my sight”.
